Seminar South Korea

On June 10-13, 2019, Sanja Sumonja, a representative of the Association “RS MoI Women Network – RS WPON” took part at a seminar on “Fighting Sexual & Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in Conflict-Affected Societies – The Role of Police and Lessons Learned in Victim Response”, held in Seoul, South Korea. At this seminar, the Network’s representative talked about the activities of the Republic of Srpska MoI and the RS MoI Women Network on preventing and combating sexual and gender-based violence in the Republic of Srpska. The seminar was attended by students and practitioners from the field of victim support, representatives of diplomatic community in Korea and ambassadors of multiple embassies in South Korea, police officers of South Korea, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, Georgia and other countries. The seminar was organized by UNDP South Korea with the support of the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. More information available at:
