On December 7, 2017, within the campaign 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence, a representative of the Association “RS MoI Women Network – RS WPON” took part at a meeting that gathered women non-governmental organizations dealing with violence against women that was organized by RS Government Gender Center with the support of the OSCE Mission to BiH. The aim of the meeting was to exchange experience and practice in the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence that is being directly implemented in the Republic of Srpska under the coordination of the Republic of Srpska Government Gender Center.

The meeting also suggested modalities for enhancing cooperation between women non-governmental organizations and the Republic of Srpska Gender Center in order to provide more comprehensive institutional response to gender-based and domestic violence and create a society with zero tolerance for gender-based violence.
