A woman with a blue beret

The RS MoI Women Network-RS WPON, supported by Trag Foundation from Belgrade, is implementing the “Institutional Support” project, which includes activities aimed at strengthening the role of women in security sector and combating gender-based violence. One of very successful results of the project is a publication of the monograph “A Woman with a Blue Beret” written by a member of the RS MoI Women Network, Iskra Stojčinović, which tackles the contribution and experience of women police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in peacekeeping missions. “A Woman with a Blue Beret” describes very vividly the hidden contribution of women police officers to the support of peace and security, but also touches upon different experiences during the missions in South Sudan and Cyprus.
